Submission Details
By submitting an abstract, you have agreed to the terms and conditions set out below:
- Multiple abstracts: Only one abstract for each presenting author.
- Withdrawing an Abstract: If a speaker accepts to present, but needs to cancel, the speaker must ASAP contact the ecoss38.registration@ecoss38.pt and withdraw the abstract from this dedicated programme position.
- Deadline: The final deadline to submit abstracts is May, 02nd 2025, 23:59 Central European Summer Time.
- Presentation: At ECOSS, an oral is usually given 17 +3 minutes for presentation + questions.
- Abstract Review: All submitted abstract will go through a peer-review process carried out by an international committee.
- Abstract Selection: The Scientific Committee makes the final selection of abstracts to be included. Abstracts can be selected for oral presentations or to be presented as posters.
- Notification of Acceptance or Rejection to Corresponding Author: Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the corresponding author by June, 06th 2025.
- Publication of Accepted Abstracts: The submission of the abstract constitutes the authors’ consent to publication. If the abstract is accepted, the authors agree that their abstract is published in the ECOSS Digital Programme.
- Posters: Authors should make sure that both title and content correspond to the accepted abstract. a. The poster board can take an A0 poster in ‘Portrait’ layout (841 x 1189 mm), unless otherwise indicated by the program organizers. b. When designing your poster, remember that attendees may be viewing it from a distance. c. No audio-visual equipment is allowed in poster sessions, unless otherwise indicated by the program organizers. d. Stay with your poster during author attendance times.
- Copyright Notice: Material presented in abstracts should not violate any copyright laws. If figures/graphics/images have been taken from sources not copyrighted by the author, it is the author’s sole responsibility to secure the rights from the copyright holder in writing to reproduce those figures/graphics/images for both worldwide print and web publication. All reproduction costs charged by the copyright holder must be borne by the author. Authors who submit to this conference retain copyright over their work, while allowing the conference to place this unpublished work under the care of a PCO service provider.
- Privacy Statement: The names and email addresses collected will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of Graphene Flagship Events and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party, according to the Graphene Flagship GDPR rules.
